Jo Daviess Mutual Insurance Company was formed on June 11, 1887. On that day, 33 local property owners met and organized our Farm Mutual. At that time, rural America had no insurance protection. These founders joined together, helping and supporting each other in time of fire and lightning losses. This is the true spirit of mutuality…neighbor helping neighbor!
